I’m Kanako, a certified Japanese teacher based in Paris with experience teaching Japanese since 2015.
I have worked for language schools and government-commissioned projects. I graduated from a university in Kyoto with a minor in teaching Japanese as a Second Language.
I love learning languages myself. I have become fluent in English and French and have studied basic Indonesian and Korean in the past. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to use these languages, so even though I like them, I prioritized other languages and stopped learning them.
Since May 2024, I have been learning German as I may move to a German-speaking country in the coming year. I am trying to pass the A1 test as soon as possible.
So, I deeply understand the struggle of language learning!
Besides being a Japanese teacher, I am also a blogger(I have another website) and I also have a petsitting certificate because I love animals and sometimes I help people around my area. Sometimes I offered Japanese translation, proofreading, transcription service too.
