I’m Kanako, a certified Japanese teacher based in Paris with experience teaching Japanese since 2015.
I have worked for language schools and government-commissioned projects. I graduated from a university in Kyoto with a minor in teaching Japanese as a Second Language.
I love learning languages. I’ve become fluent in English and French and have studied basic Indonesian and Korean in the past. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to use Indonesian and Korean, so although I enjoy them, I prioritized other languages and stopped learning them.
So, I deeply understand the struggle of language learning!
Besides being a Japanese teacher, I am also a blogger (with another website) and hold a petsitting certificate because I love animals. I sometimes help people in my area with petsitting. Additionally, I offer Japanese translation, proofreading, and transcription services.
